The bow and arrow is one of man’s very first technologically advanced projectile weapons. Throwing a rock was probably first, but archery was leaps and bounds ahead of that. Gunpowder made the bow basically obsolete by replacing it with the significantly more accurate and deadly boomstick. Or did it? As it turns out, archery is alive and well, and not just relegated to renaissance fairs and the like. Hawkeye’s speed, accuracy, and arrow innovation have turned this hobby into an Avenger level superpower. This week we will discuss how he was able to defy the odds as a totally normal guy and rub shoulders with the likes of the gamma-powered Hulk, literal demi-god Thor, and super soldier serum saturated Captain America. This not only makes him the coolest and most impressive Avenger, but also the most BA. We go over his ability as an engineer, and walk through his creative stock of trick arrows which include rockets, acid, an industrial strength plunger, and of course foam!
